If you want a wedding that says “Austin”, you want to get married at Pecan Springs Ranch. It is a little bit modern, a little bit rustic, and a LOT bit full of Hill Country Charm. There are places to take a stunning portrait at every turn. Each space is unique and different. The out door open barn space is perfect for an open bar and seating during cocktail hour. There is a lawn for lawn games and the ceremony space is perfectly designed with limestone walls and patio. The indoor space has ample room for guests. No detail was left unattended in making this space fantastic.
The wedding I worked was gorgeous from start to finish and Pecan Springs Ranch only served to add more beauty. I especially enjoyed the food trucks that were brought in and the local artisan bar tender. This bride even had pie instead of cake, which is a lady after my own heart. It was a wonderfully beautiful evening.
When you’re selecting a wedding venue, a lot has to be considered aside from the price tag. You should consider, the amenities the venue offers, the physical location of the venue, the vendor options and limitations as well as guest accommodations. If you want to have a large wedding, it’s best not to cram 200 people into a space built for 150. If you want an indoor wedding, try to find a location that also has beautiful outdoor space for cocktail hour or portraits. ALWAYS plan for rain. Even in the dry season. The venue should have a good rain plan in place. Is the staff friendly and visible? You’ll most likely have questions on the day of your wedding. Having a friendly staff can make all the difference in having those questions and problems answered.
And as always, your goal of the entire day is to get married! When you get married, the day has been successful.
Here is the link for the venue. Go and check out the space and contact them for a tour. You’ll find it will exceed your expectations.
